Q. How does Hypnotherapy work?

A. First of all it requires the client to be guided into of deep physical and mental relaxation which reduces stress and tension. In this relaxed state we are more open to change and transformation. During Hypnotherapy the client will be aware of their surroundings and can choose to come out of hypnosis at any time. You will be able to speak and move and you will be in full control of what is happening to you. At the end of the session you will be gently returned to the normal waking state…

Q. Can anyone be hypnotised?

A. People experience different level of trance (Deep relaxation) for most purposes a light trance is sufficient for Hypnotherapy to be effective.

Q. How many treatments will I need?

A. In the initial consultation the presenting issue and number of recommended sessions will be discussed and agreed. For most issues at least 3 to 4 treatments are required.
